    Four 2-hour virtual classes. Learn fundamental painting techniques and create a painting from still life, landscapes or colorful abstraction. Explore adding mediums for transparency, texture, color mixing and mark making. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class. Zoom meeting invitation and material list will be sent out after registration. Ages: 16+

    Looking for a fun family-friendly, screen-free activity? Love a good story and the great outdoors? Trail Tales combines reading while walking an outdoor trail. This month's trail selection is Sizing Up Winter by Lizann Flatt. This trail is on a paved trail and starts Rockwood's lower parking lot near the pond. Please remember to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing. All ages. FREE Book summary: As young readers journey into the natural world, they will discover that numbers, patterns, shapes and much more! can be found in everyday plants and animals.
