Land Use Public Workshops

  1. Southern New Castle County Master Plan Virtual Meeting

September 23, 2020, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM @ This is a Virtual Public Workshop to be held online.

With community participation, the Department of Land Use, WILMAPCO, and DelDOT are in the process of establishing a long-term vision for land use and infrastructure in Southern New Castle County. The goal is to guide growth while at the same time taking proactive steps to preserve natural resources and agricultural land. After a series of public workshops held since 2018, and significant community input, we have developed the final draft of the master plan. The draft will be reviewed at the Sept. 23, 2020 Southern New Castle County Master Plan Virtual Meeting. We encourage the community to review the final draft and provide feedback. Comments will be accepted until October 12, 2020 and can be emailed to NCC2050@newcastlede.gov. Following the workshop and comment period, the plan will then proceed through the legislative process for incorporation into the comprehensive plan.
