  1. FREE Pop-Up Math Class for Grades 4-8

    September 14, 2020, 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM @ Glasgow Regional Park

    Fun 30 minute Hip-Hop inspired math classes presented by certified middle school math teacher Mrs. Finney of Lyrical Math. Classes are taught in an outdoor location at Glasgow Park. Students must wear a mask to class and remain on their provided mats, which will be arranged 6 feet apart. Each student receives a Lyrical Math CD and there will be a raffle for one Lyrical Math Learning Kit at each class. Grades 4-8. FREE Talley Day Park

    Group fitness class combining strength training using weights, along with core and balance exercises and some cardiovascular work. All ability levels are welcome, as well can adjust accordingly to fit your needs. Please bring a mat, weights, water, and a towel.

    As part of New Castle County’s Comprehensive Plan effort, the Department of Land Use will host a series of four virtual workshops to inform and discuss with our residents a diverse array of topics affecting the future of the county. Our Transportation & Economy will focus on how land use planning is integrated with transportation needs and how this relationship can lead to economic development and employment opportunities, traffic safety improvements, and community revitalization.
