    We will explore the many ways of creating art with different fibers. Students will make small weaving, sewing and embroidery projects. Open to all levels. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class. This course has an additional $30 materials fee that is collected at registration.   2. VIRTUAL ACRYLIC PAINTING

    Four 2-hour virtual classes. Learn fundamental painting techniques and create a painting from still life, landscapes or colorful abstraction. Explore adding mediums for transparency, texture, color mixing and mark making. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class.   1. Create a Holiday Wreath at Rockwood - SOLD OUT

    Create a beautiful wreath to decorate your home for the holidays and winter months. Participants are asked to bring garden gloves and wire cutters. Meet your instructor, Dena Kirk, in the courtyard of the Visitor's Entrance to Rockwood. Registration fee of $5.00 for in county residents and $10.00 for out of country residents. A materials fee, payable to instructor, of $15.00 if participants provide their own greens, or $20.00 if not providing greens. Participants will work outside and will be required to wear a mask and to social distance. AGE: ADULTS, 16 AND UP FACE MASKS REQUIRED SOCIAL DISTANCING FEE: 5.00 IN COUNTY REGISTRATION FEE; 10.00 OUT OF COUNTY REGISTRATION FEE.
