Join the many fans of these fun expert-led presentations to learn about the area’s super-interesting past and see related artifacts and objects. Each session concludes with a fun mini-quiz and prizes. Registration required. Ages 12-Adults. FREE. May's History Quiztory will feature “Delaware’s Dr James Tilton and 18th century medicine.” - By James Stone from the Pencader Heritage Area Association. James Tilton was an American physician and soldier from Dover, Delaware. He was a delegate for Delaware in the Continental Congress of 1783 and 1784, and served as Surgeon General of the United States Army during the War of 1812.

    Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a Wiffle Ball, over a net. Join fellow players and increase your physical dexterity with this new and fun sport!

  1. Glasgow Park Trail Walk

    If you are looking for a moderate morning workout in a gorgeous setting and a way to get those 10,000 steps in, this is the club for you. Trails in this section of the park are nice and shady and have a few very mild hills. There are many trails of various lengths throughout this beautiful natural area. All ages welcomes. Walks are held every Thursday starting April 25 from 10:30 to 11:15am. Dates of walks: April 25; May 2, 9, 16. Meet at Parking Lot C near the playground. Hosted by Bear/Glasgow YMCA.
