The DEPARTMENT OF LAND USE AND PLANNING BOARD of New Castle County will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Gilliam Building, 67 Reads Way, New Castle, DE, beginning at 7 p.m. to consider the following applications.  The order in which the applications are listed is subject to change.

App. 2017-0288-S: Western End of Brandywine Boulevard, 400 feet west of Edgemoor Road. Exploratory Major Land Development Plan, and PLUS Review for  Village Park @ Paladin and Paladin Club XII proposes to reconfigure lot lines to construct 30 apartments and 9 garages on previous Parcel 2, construct 34 apartments on Parcel 3, remove existing house and construct 6 apartments on Parcel 4.  NCap Zoning. (T.P.s: 06-145.00-021, 06-149.00-064, 06-149.00-065, 06-149.00-066 and 06-149.00-010) 

App. 2010-0757-S: Former Three Little Bakers Golf Course as bounded by Skyline Drive, New Linden Hill Road, Pike Creek Road and Mermaid Boulevard.  Exploratory Major Land Development Plan, and PLUS Review for Terraces at Pike Creek proposes a 224 unit subdivision (28 single family detached lots, 76 townhouse lots, 24 twin lots and 96 apartments) on parcels 08-036.10-109, 08-036.40-058 and 08-042.40-134.  S zoning.  CD 3.  Mill Creek Hundred.

App. 2018-0643-D:  Former Three Little Bakers Golf Course as bounded by Skyline Drive, New Linden Hill Road, Pike Creek Road and Mermaid Boulevard.  To Amend Declarations of Restrictions, dated September 10, 1964 and an amendatory agreement to those restrictions dated December 22, 1969 to eliminate the requirements for an 18-hole golf course, increase the amount of open space required for the development to 235 acres, to construct no more than 224 residential dwelling units on parcels 08-036.10-109, 08-036.40-058 and 08-042.40-134 and to permit uses approved by the Department of Land Use and New Castle County Council on the open space set aside for the 18-hole golf course. This application is associated with the land development plan for Terraces at Pike Creek (App. 2010-0757-S) S zoning.  CD 3.  Mill Creek Hundred.


Considerations of rezonings may include zones other than those specified in the ordinances, and considerations for all other applications, including text amendments, may include changes other than those specified or requested in the proposals.  Time limitations will be imposed on speakers.  Information on all applications is available for public review in the Land Use Department, New Castle County Government Center, 87 Reads Way, Corporate Commons, New Castle, DE, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
