    VIRTUAL FIBER ARTS AND FABRIC DYEING Four 2-hour virtual classes. We will explore the many ways of creating art and functional pieces with fabric and other fibers. Students will learn home and eco-friendly dyeing techniques and make small weaving, sewing and embroidery projects. Open to all levels. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class. Ages: 16+
  2. Wed Oct. 14 - Wed Nov. 4

    VIRTUAL BEGINNER'S WATERCOLOR Four 2-hour virtual classes. Learn watercolor techniques and how to apply them to a painting. Techniques include washes, brush work, glazing and color mixing. Practice each skill and combine them in a final project. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class. Zoom meeting invitation and material list will be sent out after registration. Ages: 16+
  3. Fri Oct. 16 - Fri Nov. 6

    VIRTUAL BEGINNING ACRYLIC PAINTING Four 2-hour virtual classes. Learn fundamental painting techniques and create a painting from still life, landscapes or colorful abstraction. Explore adding mediums for transparency, texture, color mixing and mark making. Students will receive a list of materials they are asked to purchase on their own prior to the start of class. Zoom meeting invitation and material list will be sent out after registration. Ages: 16+
  4. Tue Oct. 20

    Tai Chi with Winston, Virtual Senior Program with Absalom Jones Senior Center Winston Gacutan guides you through this ancient form of exercise combining meditation with gentle flexible movements. Material needed: A stable chair without rollers.
