WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

WHAT WILL BE COVERED?

This specialized training is taught by a mental health professional and an equine specialist and uses a combination of lectures, discussions, demonstrations, role-plays, and hands-on exercises with equines to:

  • provide an overview of PATH Intl. standards, core values, equine-assisted services, and examples of what EAS programming may look like
  • define the role of the equine specialist
  • educate individuals on safe equine handling practices, equine body language, and equine communication
