In honor of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on January 18, New Castle County Department of Community Services is collecting winter gear and other necessary items throughout the month of January. Donations will be given to local organizations who provide services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness through partnerships with Delaware State Service Centers, Sunday Breakfast Mission, the New Castle County Hope Center, and Volunteer Delaware.
The goal of this donation drive is to provide an opportunity to serve your community while remaining safe by observing Covid19 safety recommendations. You can gift-up and donate new items such as winter coats, hats, gloves, socks, children's books and more! View the complete list of accepted items below.
