Youth Art Classes

Does your child love art? We have the perfect activities for them! The Art Studio offers Saturday youth art classes for children ages 6-17. Our amazing and experienced instructors offer classes in clay, painting and drawing. We also offer summer art camp and a variety of workshops for children.   1. Sat Oct. 5 - Sat Nov. 23

    Fun with Clay (Ages 6-9) Eight 1½-hour classes. Learn techniques and create new pieces using coils, slabs, pinching and sculpting techniques.

  2. Sat Oct. 5 - Sat Nov. 23

    Drawing and Painting (Ages 10-17) Eight 1½-hour classes. Learn techniques of drawing and painting. Creative expression is encouraged while learning basic skills with the younger age group.

  3. Sat Oct. 5 - Sat Nov. 23

    Go Green: Art With Found Objects Eight 1½- hour classes. Create art made of found objects. Learn about artists who created their work using found materials. Find inventive ways to repurpose what is around you in art. Think outside of the box and help the environment, too. Ages 10-17

  4. Sat Oct. 5 - Sat Nov. 23

    Clay Works (Ages 10-17) Eight 1½-hour classes. Learn fundamental hand-building techniques and get an introduction to the potter's wheel. Explore both functional and sculptural pieces.
