    Fiber Arts and Fabric Dyeing Ten 2-hour classes. Explore the many ways of creating art and functional pieces with fabric and other fibers! Make hand dyed silk scarves using different dying methods, framed silk paintings, small weavings, and learn different ways to felt wool. Open to all levels. Adults

    Weaving Open Studio/Intermediate Weaving 3-hour sessions. Open studio for beginning and experienced weavers to work on floor looms. Table top looms also available. Teens/Adults
  3. Mon Sep. 16 - Mon Oct. 21

    Ceramic Surface Decorations Five 2-hour classes. Explore different techniques to finish your ceramic pieces. On tiles, practice methods each week like sgraffito, underglaze painting, stencils and slip. Basic clay knowledge suggested. Adults.

    Plein Air Painting at Glasgow Park Five 2-hour classes at Glasgow Park Bank Barn and various sites in park. Revitalize your creative energy. Paint outdoors in a serene setting and learn to capture the surroundings using Watercolor, Acrylic or Gouache. Composition and color will be broken down to their most simple components. All abilities are welcome. Adults Materials: - Bag for carrying supplies - Sketchbook (small or medium) - Drawing pencils, eraser, sharpener - Pad of watercolor paper (smooth or rough, no larger than 8x10) - Board to work on (as large as the paper) - Painters tape Paint: - Watercolors, acrylic or Gouache. Colors: reds (cadmium red and alizarin crimson), yellows (cadmium yellow light and lemon), blues (French ultramarine blue and cerulean), green (viridian), raw umber, black, white (2 tubes) - Variety of watercolor brushes - Small cloth towel and/or baby wipes - Empty can for water - Portable stool - Portable easel (if wish to not set board on lap) - Hat, sunscreen, drinking water
