Teen Wanted for Stalking, Violating No Contact Order

 

New Castle County Police are currently searching for Chad J. Marciano, a 19 year old male who resides in the 200 block of Thompsonville Road in Milford, Delaware.  He is wanted for stalking his estranged girlfriend and calling her more than 20 times in violation of a recently issued no contact order.

Police Investigate Two Weekend Pizza Delivery Robberies in Newark

 

On Saturday and Sunday evenings, County Police investigated two robberies of pizza delivery drivers that occurred in separate Newark communities.  In each case, the victim was accosted and robbed of cash.

Burglary suspect attempts to flee from officers, unable to outrun Taser

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Trevor Livesay, a 33 year old male who resides in the 200 block of May Avenue in the community of Collins Park.  He has been charged with burglary related offenses and resisting arrest.

17 Year Old Girl Given Alcohol, Raped on New Years' Eve

 

New Castle County Detectives have arrested Thomas Beggs, a 34 year old male who resides in the unit block of S. Skyward Drive in the community of Breezewood. He has been charged with one count of rape in the fourth degree after detectives determined he provided alcohol to the victim and later had sex with her after she became ill and passed out on the couch in his home.

Three Teens Arrested for Robbery, Carjacking and Kidnapping of

Pizza Delivery Driver

 

New Castle County Detectives have arrested three area teenage males for the Monday night robbery and kidnapping of a Season’s Pizza delivery driver.  Officers have determined the victim was beaten, robbed, and then forced into the trunk of his own car by the suspects who had conspired and planned to rob the person who delivered their food order.  At least one of the teen suspects has been linked to three additional robberies that have occurred in the community since December 6, 2008.

Two Remain in Critical Condition after Weekend Crash, Driver Charged with DUI

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Robert Rash, a 36 year old male who resides in the 3600 block of Haley Court in Wilmington.  He has been charged with two felony counts of vehicular assault, DUI, and driving on the wrong side of the road.

Woman 38, Charged with Raping 14 Year Old Boy

 

New Castle County Detectives have arrested Juli Faunce, a resident of the unit block of Commonwealth Avenue in the Overlook Colony Apartments.  She has been charged with four counts of rape in the 3rd degree after police discovered she had had sex with her 14 year old daughter’s male friend.

Investigators from the New Castle County Police Traffic Services Unit are currently investigating a serious two car collision that has left an elderly man hospitalized in critical condition with severe head injuries.

Suspect Charged with Felony Resisting Arrest, Attempts to Strike Officer

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Robert Ferguson, a 27 year old male who resides in the 2600 block of Baxter Drive in the community of Faulkland Heights.  He was originally going to be arrested for a minor offense, but decided to attempt to punch the officer who was taking him into custody.  He was detained and handcuffed after a brief struggle.

Man Holds Mother and Girlfriend Hostage at Gunpoint

 

A 43 year old New Castle man has been charged with unlawful imprisonment and multiple weapon offenses after police arrested him for holding his mother and girlfriend at gunpoint for two hours during a domestic dispute.

An Expired Temporary Tag Leads to Trafficking in Cocaine Arrest

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Ronald Majewski, a 27 year old male who resides in the 1500 block of Garnet Mine Road in Garnet Valley PA.  He has been charged with trafficking cocaine after his vehicle was stopped for a minor equipment violation and he was later found to be in possession of 11 grams of cocaine.

A report of shots fired in the Christiana Green community has led to the arrest of a 35 year old male for drug and weapon violations and the arrest of his teenage nephew who tried to “take the rap” for his uncle.

School Bus Driver Charged with Rape, Student 14

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Robert Bollinger, a 24 year old male who resides in the unit block of Vincent Court in the Waterford Trailer Park in Bear, DE.  An investigation has revealed he initiated contact with a female student while he was her bus driver who drove her to and from school.  Over time, he entered into an intimate relationship with the 9th grade student who recently disclosed the incidents to a school counselor.

Complaints of Burning Marijuana Leads to Felony Drug Arrest

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Nicolas Harris, a 19 year old male who resides in the 2000 block of Sheldon Drive in The Bluffs Apartments.  He has been charged with felony drug violations after an officer investigated a report of the scent of burning marijuana from his residence.  Inside his home, police recovered a ¼ pound of marijuana and a quantity of Xanax pills concealed in a plastic baggie.

New Castle County Police have arrested three Saint Joseph University students and one Temple University student after they agreed to deliver an ounce of marijuana to an undercover county police officer who was posing as a local college student in Newark.

Man 66, Charged with Criminal Solicitation, Pays Man to Harm Ex Son in Law

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Wilbur Eichman, a resident of the 100 block of Clover Drive in Hockessin, Delaware. He has been charged with one count of criminal solicitation after he paid a man cash to beat up his ex son in law. After the assault, Wilbur offered more money to the assailant if he would shoot the victim with a high powered rifle and told him he would get a bonus for cutting off his genitals.

Traffic Stop Leads to the Arrest of Three Suspects, Gun, Knives, Cocaine Seized

New Castle County Police have arrested three Wilmington residents for trafficking cocaine and weapon offenses after an alert officer stopped their car for a minor equipment violation. After the stop, the officer searched the occupants and found they were in possession of cocaine, a loaded handgun and two folding knives.

Domestic Dispute Leads to Robbery

A jealous female, who found her boyfriend with another woman visiting his apartment, has been arrested for robbery related offenses after she assaulted and robbed the woman and her boyfriend inside. The assailant and her mother (who drove her to the scene) were both arrested after they fled the scene with items belonging to the victim.

Graffiti Investigation at the Hagley Foundation Solved, Teen Arrested

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Cody Peet, a 17 year old male who resides in the unit block of N. Buckridge Road in Wilmington.  He has been charged with one count of graffiti to real or personal property and one count of criminal trespassing.  He is currently being investigated by several police agencies as his graffiti “tag” has been found on multiple locations in New Castle County.

Police Search for Hit and Run Vehicle

 

New Castle County Police are presently investigating a hit and run crash involving a car that struck a building causing significant damage to both the car and structure.  The building was later deemed unsafe by a New Castle County building inspector.  The impact of the striking vehicle caused the outer wall of the structure to shift slightly off of its foundation.

Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested, Leaves Fingerprints on Police Cruiser

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Marque C. Mathis, a 19 year old male who resides in the unit block of Bunker Hill Drive in New Castle.  He has been charged with robbery and weapon related offenses when  police linked him to the crimes after his fingerprints were lifted off of a police cruiser.  While officers “patted him down,” Mathis ran off leaving his jacket, gun and fingerprints behind.

Since mid-November, New Castle County Police have investigated at least a dozen incidents involving cars that had tires slashed or windows broken in the communities of Penn Acres and Wilmington Manor Gardens.

New Castle County Police have arrested Keith Johnson, a 23 year old male who resides in the 1500 block of New Jersey Avenue in the Hampton Walk Apartments.  He has been charged with stalking his estranged girlfriend, threatening to kill her son and suspected in a shooting.

Police Canine Apprehends Burglary Suspects

 

New Castle County Police have arrested three teenage males who broke into a Spencer Park home and removed a Sony Playstation and 10 video games.  The teens were apprehended after they were spotted walking away from the area of the crime scene.  All three were arrested after they were unable to outrun a police canine.

New Castle County Police have arrested David Jones, a 32 year old male who resides in the 100 block of W. 9th Street in New Castle.  He has been charged with felony drug and traffic violations after police stopped his car and found he was in possession of a variety of prescription pills packaged for sale.

Second Suspect Charged with Setting Cat on Fire

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Devon Young-Harris, a 15 year old male who resides in the unit block of S. Pennewell Drive in the community of Edgemoor Gardens.  He has been charged with felony cruelty to an animal after he and a co-conspirator were linked to setting a cat on fire and killing it in July of 2008.  A fingerprint recovered from the scene has linked him to the crime.

Police Seek Identity of Robbery Suspects

New Castle County Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the below listed suspects who were responsible for beating and robbing two victims in July.  Investigators have recently obtained and released surveillance images of the suspects whose photographs were captured as they entered a local convenience store moments before the robbery occurred.

SWAT Team Executes Search Warrant

 

New Castle County Police have arrested two men for felony drug violations after police completed a weekend investigation into illegal drug sales in the community of Rosegate.  As a result of the search, police seized 70 grams of crack cocaine, 3.5 pounds of marijuana, and $3,100 in suspected drug proceeds.

Teen Wanted for Shooting at Cousin

 

New Castle County Detectives have arrest warrants on file for Joel T. Milburn, an 18 year old male who resides in Elkton, Maryland.  He is wanted for shooting a handgun at his teenage cousin while chasing him on foot throughout the community of Chandeleur Woods.  The victim escaped without injury, but an occupied home on Chattahoochee Lane was struck by at least three bullets.

New Castle County Police have arrested Megan Miller, a 20 year old female who resides in the 100 block of Dasher Avenue in Bear, DE.  Miller was arrested yesterday not long after she set off her neighbor’s alarm while attempting to steal cash from inside.

Car Drives Through Home, Occupied Residence Condemned

 

New Castle County Police are currently investigating an early morning crash involving a vehicle that struck a home which caused the garage doors to be “blown out” of the frames.  The impact was so severe, debris from the crash caused damage to a parked car that was located two driveways away.

15 Pounds of Marijuana Seized from Newark Home, Resident Arrested

 

The New Castle County Mobile Enforcement Team (M.E.T.) has arrested Benjamin Epstein, a 23 year old male who resides in the 100 block of E. Park Place in Newark, DE.  He has been charged with multiple felony drug offenses after police executed a search warrant on his car and residence which led to the seizure of 15 pounds of marijuana.

Princess, The Chihuahua Stolen from Yard

New Castle County Police are searching for two individuals who stole a canine yesterday evening from a yard in the community of Oak Hills. Princess, a six year old Chihuahua, was wearing a blue collar with no name tag. She is tan in color and is white on her chest and belly.

Robbery Victim Shoots Suspect

 

A Garfield Park man, who was accosted by two would-be robbers, surprised the assailants when he fired his own handgun striking one in the chest.  The robbers ran off, but didn’t get far as they had to stop and call for an ambulance for one of the seriously wounded bandits.

Three Pizza Delivery Drivers Robbed over the Weekend

 

New Castle County Police are continuing to investigate a series of pizza delivery robberies despite arresting two teens on Saturday for a total of seven robberies.  Since Friday (11/21), County Police have investigated three additional armed robberies that occurred in separate locations in the county.

Five Guns Stolen in Apartment Burglary

 

New Castle County Police are currently investigating a second weekend burglary where multiple firearms have been stolen from a home along the Route 40 corridor in Bear, DE.  Investigators have not found a link to the crimes, but are warning the public as a total of 31 guns that have been stolen over the weekend.

New Castle County Police have arrested two Bear, DE, teens who have been linked to a series of robberies of food delivery drivers over the past three weeks.  One of the teens, Joshua Chattin (15) was on house arrest at the time of robberies as he was convicted earlier this year for number of similar style robberies.

New Castle County Police have arrested Dominick Richards-Titus, a 20 year old male who resides in the unit block of Printz Drive in Bear, DE.  He has been charged with felony drug violations after he was stopped by police and found to be in possession of multiple bags of marijuana packaged for sale and drug paraphernalia.

Roach Exterminator Finds Drugs, Notifies Police

 

New Castle County Police have arrested Chantel Queen, a 21 year old female who resides in the 100 block of Bennet Road in the Willow Chase Apartments.  She has been charged with felony drug violations after police executed a search warrant at her apartment and found marijuana hidden inside.  The investigation originated after police received a crime tip from an exterminator who was treating her apartment for an infestation of roaches.

Police Motorcycle Involved in Crash

 

New Castle County Police Sergeant Joseph Fitzgerald narrowly escaped serious injury Wednesday while operating a police motorcycle when a vehicle made an illegal turn directly in the officer’s path.  The police vehicle struck the passenger side doors of the other car causing a total of $1,500 in damages.

New Castle County Detectives are currently searching for two suspects who assaulted and robbed a pizza delivery man who had responded to a Newark home to deliver a bogus food order.  A composite sketch of one of the suspects was completed last evening and has been released to the media.

Two Pizza Deliver Drivers Robbed over the Weekend, Crime Trend Continues

 

New Castle County Police are presently investigating two unrelated robberies that occurred in different locations in the county, but are part of an ongoing series of similar crimes.  In each case, a pizza and food order was placed by bandits who robbed the pizza delivery person when they arrived at the residences to deliver the order.

14 Year Old Accidentally Shots Family Dog with Rifle

 

Two teenagers narrowly escaped serious injury this afternoon while playing with a loaded rifle that discharged and struck the family dog.  The canine was later put down due to complications to a severed left leg.

Teens Choose Wrong House to Try to Break into

 

An off duty Wilmington Police Officer, who was working an overnight shift and was sleeping inside his home, was woken by the sounds of an intruder attempting to break into his home Friday afternoon in the community of Lattimer Estates.  The officer confronted the intruders and arrested one at gunpoint.

New Castle County Police have arrested Eugene Brown, a 29 year old male who resides in the unit block of Rose Lane in the community of Rosegate.  He has been charged with weapon and related offenses after he chased his grandmother with a butcher knife and threatened to kill her while possibly under the influence of PCP.

New Castle County Police have arrested Eddie Rodriguez, a 19 year old male who resides in the 100 block of Gander Way in Chestertown, Maryland.  He has been charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon and related offenses after foot patrol officers stopped him in the Lexington Green Apartments and found he was in possession of a concealed large fixed blade knife and marijuana.

DUI Suspect Rescued from His Own Garage, Narrowly Escapes Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

New Castle County Police have arrested Vahit Balci, a 33 year old male who resides in the 200 block of Cheyenne Drive in the community of Wrangle Hill Estates.  He has been charged with DUI and related offenses after he drove his car across his neighbor’s yard.  He then proceeded to his own home and crashed his car into the interior of his garage.
