Demolition Permits

App. 2017-004726: 2290 Red Lion Rd. (Southern corner of SR 71 and Hunters Run Way), vicinity of Kirkwood village (TP 12-018.00-001).  Demolition permit application for barn/shed on property of Old Cann Mansion, listed in the National Register of Historic Places.  CD 12.

Land Development Plans

App. 2013-0856-S: 1309 Cedar Lane Rd. (W side Cedar Lane Rd., S of Boyds Corner Rd.)  Exploratory Major Land Development Plan for Northeast Christian Church proposes to construct a 27,000 s.f. church and to demolish the circa 1840/1860 T.J. Houston House and build a replica of the house in a new location on the property.  S (Suburban) zoning district.  CD 12.

App. 2016-0806-SNorth and south sides Vance Neck Road, 1100 feet east of Ashley Dr.  Exploratory Major Land Development Plan for Baymont Farms proposes to extinguish a previously recorded plan and easements and propose a new Open Space subdivision (Option 2) with 271 single family detached, age-restricted lots and 64.4% open space (140.14 acres) on 217.65 acres.  The property contains elements of the late 18th/early 19th century Gill-Welden farm complex and the plan proposes to remove the 18th/19th century brick house and to adaptively reuse the circa 1930s/1940s dairy barn.   S (Suburban) zoning district.  CD 12.
