App. 2016-0558-S
:  Northwesterly corner Pulaski Highway (US 40) and Pleasant Valley Road intersection.  Exploratory Major Land Development Plan and PLUS Review for The Cascades proposes to develop the 76.28 acre property as an Open Space Planned Development including eighteen (18) single family detached lots, sixty-four (64) semi-detached lots, thirty-three (33) lot line lots, and associated improvements.  S (Suburban) zoning district.  CD 11.

App. 2016-0494-S/Z:  
North side Christiana Road, 1,500 feet west of Churchmans Road Extension.  Exploratory Minor Land Development Plan, Rezoning, and PLUS Review for 100 Christiana Road proposes to rezone the parcel from ON (Office Neighborhood) to CN (Commercial Neighborhood) to construct a 5,355 SF retail building.  Ord. 16-137 will rezone 0.89 acres from ON (Office Neighborhood) to CN (Commercial Neighborhood).  CD 7.
  


App. 2017-0035-D:  East side Montchanin Road, south side Barley Mill Road (SR 141), and north of Brecks Lane (TP 07-030.10-015), at 20 Montchanin Road, Greenville vicinity.  To Amend Declarations of Restrictions, dated September 9, 1968 and January 17, 1969 by Columbia Gas Corporation and Dorcas and Donald Farquhar and associated with a rezoning of the property to O-2 (office use) in January 1969 which limited the use of the property to an office building and accessory uses.  The proposed amendment will expressly allow a yoga/physical fitness studio and a hair salon/spa as additional permitted uses.  OR (Office Regional) zoning. CD 2.

Considerations of rezonings may include zones other than those specified in the ordinances, and considerations for all other applications, including text amendments, may include changes other than those specified or requested in the proposals.  Time limitations will be imposed on speakers.  Information on all applications is available for public review in the Land Use Department, New Castle County Government Center, 87 Reads Way, Corporate Commons, New Castle, DE, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
