App. 2014-0730-S.  Northwest side Bethel Church Road, west of Summit Bridge Road and north of Choptank Road.  Exploratory Major Land Development Plan and PLUS Review for Summit Point proposes to develop the site with 99 single family detached dwellings on 189.6 acres.  S (Suburban) zoning district.  CD 6. 


App. 2015-0172-D.  (Second hearing to address revised plan.) Brandywine Town Center grounds east of Concord Pike (US 202), west of Brandywine Parkway and south of Beaver Valley Plaza.  To Amend a Declaration of Restrictions dated February 12, 1991 by Brandywine Raceway Associates Inc. et al in association with a rezoning from R-1-C and R-2 to C-3 by Ord. 90-27.  The declaration was subsequently amended June 13, 1999 and September 25, 2008 by Acadia Brandywine Subsidiary LLC et al in association with construction of Brandywine Town Center.  The current amendment is to relocate 0.4 acre of parkland to another location within Brandywine Town Center and to add another 1.3 acres of parkland to allow construction of a new building abutting Concord Pike and adjacent to Brandywine Town Center as proposed in App. 2015-0048-S for AAA Car Care Center. CR (Commercial Regional) zoning.  CD 2.


App. 2015-0344-S/Z.  West side Shipley Road, north of Parkside Drive and south of Lane Swim Club.  Exploratory Major Land Development Plan, Rezoning and PLUS Review for Harborchase of Wilmington.  The plan proposes to rezone the property from S to ST to construct a 100,316 s.f., 120-bed assisted living facility with associated amenities on 8.42 acres.  Ord. 15-083 will rezone 8.42 acres from S (Suburban) to ST (Suburban Transition) and to amend the 2012 Comprehensive Plan consistent therewith.  CD 2.


App. 2015-0505-D.  West side Paper Mill Road (SR 72), north side Corner Ketch Road.  To Amend a Declaration of Restrictions dated April 28, 1998 by Gladys W. LaFountain/Dempsey Corporation in association with a rezoning from NC21 (Neighborhood Conservation) to CR (Commercial Regional) by Ordinance 97-173.  The proposed amendment will expand Paragraph 1 of the declaration by adding drug store and pharmacy to the list of permitted uses on the premises.  CR (Commercial Regional) zoning district.  CD 3. 


Considerations of rezonings may include zones other than those specified in the ordinances, and considerations for all other applications, including text amendments, may include changes other than those specified or requested in the proposals.  Time limitations will be imposed on speakers.  Information on all applications is available for public review in the Land Use Department, New Castle County Government Center, 87 Reads Way, Corporate Commons, New Castle, DE, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
