App. 2014-0769-S.  West side South College Avenue, north side of A Street, and north of Executive Drive and Corporate Boulevard in the Pencader Corporate Center.  Exploratory Major Land Development Plan and PLUS Review for Troy Granite.  The plan proposes to consolidate two parcels and propose a 49,500 square foot building for offices, a retail showroom and warehouse on 14.74 acres.  BP (Business Park) zoning district.  CD 11.

 

App. 2015-0017-S/Z.  South side Wrangle Hill Road (SR 72), east side Red Lion Road (SR 71).  Exploratory Minor Land Development Plan, Rezoning and PLUS Review for Convenience Store and Bank at 3601 Wrangle Hill Road.    The plan proposes to consolidate three tax parcels into two and to construct 4,685 square foot convenience store and gas pumps and a 4,800 square foot bank with drive-through on 10.75 acres.  Ord. 15-021 will rezone 10.75 acres from NC 21 (Neighborhood Conservation) to CN (Commercial Neighborhood) and will amend the 2012 Comprehensive Development Plan consistent therewith.  CD 12.

 

App. 2015-0047-S/Z.  Northeast side Brandywine Parkway, north of Bridle Drive.  Exploratory Minor Land Development Plan, Rezoning and PLUS Review for 3001 Brandywine Parkway. The plan proposes to convert the former 5,000 square foot police substation to general offices with associated parking on 1.83 acres.  Ord. 15-022 will rezone 1.83 acres from S (Suburban) to CR (Commercial Regional) and will amend the 2012 Comprehensive Development Plan consistent therewith.  CD 2.

 

App. 2015-0172-D.  Brandywine Town Center grounds east of Concord Pike (US 202), west of Brandywine Parkway and south of Beaver Valley Plaza.  To Amend a Declaration of Restrictions dated February 12, 1991 by Brandywine Raceway Associates Inc. etal in association with a rezoning from R-1-C and R-2 to C-3 by Ord. 90-27.  The declaration was subsequently amended June 13, 1999 and September 25, 2008 by Acadia Brandywine Subsidiary LLC etal in association with construction of Brandywine Town Center.  The current amendment is to relocate 0.46 acre of parkland to another location within Brandywine Town Center to allow construction of a new building abutting Concord Pike and adjacent to Brandywine Town Center as proposed in App. 2015-0048 for AAA Car Care Center. CR (Commercial Regional) zoning.  CD 2.

 

Considerations of rezonings may include zones other than those specified in the ordinances, and considerations for all other applications, including text amendments, may include changes other than those specified or requested in the proposals.  Time limitations will be imposed on speakers.  Information on all applications is available for public review in the Land Use Department, New Castle County Government Center, 87 Reads Way, Corporate Commons, New Castle, DE, from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
