Carousel features sweeping meadows, ponds and a lake, miles of tranquil walking trails, and a one of a kind bark park. Home of the New Castle County Mounted Patrol, all visitors to the park will enjoy the beauty and grace of magnificent horses roaming the meadows. Open daily from dawn until dusk.

RIDING INSTRUCTORS NEEDED New Castle County Carousel Park is looking for qualified riding lesson instructors for beginner and intermediate in both English and Western riding styles. Lessons are taught Tuesday thru Sunday.

Pony parties: May - September on Saturday, 2-4 p.m.
Riding lesson program: Ages 8+
Therapeutic lesson program
Pony rides: April-September, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Hayride: October-November, Friday and Saturday, 4-7 p.m.
